Heron Lake RV and Marine is located 4 miles from the intersection of Highway 84 on Highway 95 in the beautiful Chama valley of northern New Mexico. We are approximately 5 minutes from Heron Lake and 5 minutes from the Chama river. We are one of the closest sporting goods stores to some of the most productive fishing in New Mexico. We have RV and Marine supplies, Ice, Gas, Picnic Supplies, Firewood and Fishing tackle.

Nearby Heron Lake offers very good fishing for Rainbow, Kokanee and Lake Trout. Many campsites are available in the Heron Lake and El Vado Lake campgrounds. The Wild and Scenic section of the Chama River is also very close by. A short drive up to and around the Brazos Cliffs on Highway 64 takes you to beautiful Hopewell Lake in the San Juan Mountains. Nutrias and Canjilon Lakes are also nearby to the south on Highway 84 and the Brazos River is nearby to the north on Highway 84. Deer, Elk and other wildlife abound in the area. Many other high country lakes and streams are nearby across the Colorado state line. This is big country – a vast sportsmans’ paradise!!

In addition, many wonderful shops full of delightful souveniers can be found in the nearby town of Chama. You can also travel on the famous Cumbres and Toltec scenic narrow gauge railroad to Antonito, Colorado, seeing dramatic and beautiful vistas at every turn.
